Ameriglo always makes excellent sights. I’ve never been disappointed. They are always a good fit and easy to pick up.
As awesome as pistol optics are, like everything electronic, they can fail. The battery can die. The optic could get damaged. We believe it's important to have a backup sighting solution when able. Suppressor-height sights are the ticket. Available here are two versions: The GL-429 which has a blacked-out rear and front sight, and the GL-511 which has a red front sight post.
If you're using these irons as a backup to a pistol-mounted optic, we recommend the all-blacked-out, GL-429 so there isn't a red front sight post competing for visual attention with the red dot of your optic.
If you're using these irons for shooting with a suppressed Glock with no optic, we recommend the GL-511, as the high-vis orange front sight makes front sight/hard target focus much easier.

Ameriglo is a great brand but I've had the front sight fall off after high round counts with these sights, even after having them installed by a gunsmith and properly torqued, Locktited etc. I wish they offered a slightly lower height version so it only barely co-witnessed above the deck of an RMR or equivalent optic. Would probably have gone with Dawson Precision or Continuous Precision options instead. I think these are the best option if you're using iron sights and shooting with a suppressor, but there are better ones out there if the goal is RDS backups.
